| BlueCrystalTear 10/08/22 7:50:05 PM #51: | Many students don't have cars. Here in Madison, students can just walk to Camp Randall since it's on campus, no need to drive. The student section may fill up as the game goes on if some of them are out getting smashed. Leonhart4 posted... Well, LA is a notoriously fairweather sports town anywayThis is also true. LA sports fans are eagerly anticipating the Dodgers in the NLDS. Rams are also popular given their Super Bowl triumph but they have to maintain winning for the momentum to last more than a season. People in LA are only engaged with their team(s) when those teams are winning. They sometimes bandwagon a team that they don't usually root for if they start winning, so long as that team is in LA or Inglewood; LA fans hate that the Anaheim Angels go by "The The Angels Angels." However, there's an exception: The firm split between USC and UCLA. People like one and hate the other, and will NEVER root for the one they hate. That plus the sizeable stadium and the trek to Pasadena make it clear to me. But keep in mind that, in case it wasn't obvious, Buffy goes to UCLA, so she'd know a lot more than you, Leon. Or me, for that matter. ~ Also, back on topic: So glad my Badgers obliterated Northwestern. A very necessary recovery after that shitty week. We needed that rebound badly to go into Sparty next week with enough confidence to actually pull off a win in their house. --- Come check out my movie watchthrough topic: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/8-gamefaqs-contests/80167031 ...
