it's pretty good, Pinhead was never male in the book anyway. Pinhead was described as being female so this was a bit closer to source material than the original movies were.
All Cenobites are described as genderless and androgynous in The Hellbound Heart except for one that is never named near the beginning who isn't The Hell Priest. And even then that's Frank trying to register them in his brain for the first time. Not saying Pinhead shouldn't be played by a woman, it doesn't much matter because they are supposed to be beyond things like genders. Just it's never specified in the original one way or the other
