Topic	How is Minnesota? What is like living there? Does it have a Midwestern feel?

The bit between the lakes is all buildings, it's mostly the downtown area. Madison is alright. There's a really nice set of walking trails maintained by the college that is around one of the lakes. My wife and I used to go walking there sometimes. Sunhawk posted... Do the Twin Cities have a cosmopolitan feel? Is there plenty to do? Can you walk directly between the two cities? Is East Louis really scary? You could if you wanted to, but it's kind of a long walk. Not the best neighborhoods in between in some places though. There's a lot to do, especially in Minneapolis. Both get a lot of concerts and what not. We have the largest (By daily volume) State Fair in the country, but it's already done for the year. The Mall of America.
