Those bitey-looking things are actually pretty weak and won't hurt you. They are for grabbing the female to mate. Females have noticeably smaller mandibles, but they are still pretty big due to the size of the bug and they are strong, so if a female bites you, you're gonna have a bad time. Whipscorpions are fucked up looking but I don't know how dangerous they are. Water scorpions are pretty creepy too (I've seen those irl, but not a whipscorpion). House centipedes are among the worst bugs aesthetically imo but they are actually not bad to have at all. They are apparently very clean as far as bugs go and they will eat other home pest bugs. I used to always kill them. Now depending on the mood I'm in, I either leave them alone or put them outside. In terms of bugs that will fuck you up, Brazillian Wandering Spiders are a good nominee, especially for dudes (their venom will make your wiener hard and it will stay that way. Without anti-venom, the blood will not be able to leave and you could end up with permanent damage or even worse, lose your wiener or die). Botflies are terrible too. Less dangerous, but who wants literal maggots living inside of your scalp? . There is also a caterpillar in Central and/or South America that has venomous spines. Their venom acts as a blood thinner and if you don't get treatment quickly, you'll just start bleeding out of like everything and without treatment, it won't stop and you'll be done. Mosquitoes are the obvious one too. Malaria kills more people than any other bug-borne illness. Deer ticks transmit Lyme Disease. Predacious Diving Beetles (aka toe biters) are big enough to eat fish and salamanders and small frogs so a bite from one of those is gonna hurt. Then of course there are centipedes and millipedes in Asia that are like the size of an average adult human arm and they are venomous as well (there is a type of millipede that secretes a powerful dissociative/hallucinogenic toxin that some marsupials will spread on themselves to deter predators (at the expense of getting SERIOUSLY FUCKED UP for hours)). There is also apparently a type of moth that feeds on bodily fluids of animals, so they will like drink off of the eyeballs of cattle and will even drink blood.
