Oubliettes 11/02/22 3:57:38 PM #25: | find a positive interest/hobby and a community based around it have positive interactions with ppl in that community can help cultivate a happier and healthier outlook on life overall which comes through in your interactions with other people, romantic interests included i took up painting warhammer models in 2018 when i was depressed af and i was blown away at how cool the minipainting communities are. nothing but ppl giving you praise, encouragement, and honest advice, no matter your level of skill or accomplishment. everyone wants to see your stuff, show off their stuff, talk about models, lore, etc. i have no clue how the actual game community is, but the hobby community is genuinely one of the most wholesome groups ive ever interacted with in my life. i feel like a lot of incelly guys fall into groups of collective commiserating, which just breeds contempt and negativity, especially when youve got active members with a more radicalized bent and an itchy "post new message" finger. im incredibly introverted and insecure. ive never been good at making friends. never asked a girl out in my life. ive gotten by on the sole fact that i was lucky enough to be born semi-good looking. so i totally get that feeling of alienation and lonliness and ive tbh always felt like i was a hairs breadth away from being an incel myself. in school making friends was as easy as "oh you like [thing]? i like [thing] too, we friends now." and its somewhat different as an adult (in person anyways) but im for real, theres tons of communities out there full of awesome accepting ppl that just wanna celebrate each other and each others accomplishments in a positive way, and cultivating that more positive mindset genuinely does shine through in your interactions with ppl youre romantically interested in --- Your anus can't read. - Heartomaton ...
