Because I was never comparing a dub vs a sub in the first place genius, actually read my post again. The subject of my post was only talking about that small group of sub elitists who use the "I will only ever prefer the source of this game's voices" but the irony comes in when this group ignorantly does not realize that this japanese made game (or western made game that uses an anime aesthetic, which is why I used river city girls as an example) was originally created only having english voices. This same group is then caught between actually being true to their word or being a stupid japanophile that will swap to japanese voices regardless, thus being hypocrites.

Resident evil, devil may cry, kingdom hearts for example, all of these series was created only having english voices. (Kingdom hearts 1 did not get japanese voices until the final mix release. Square-enix then made the initial japanese release of kingdom hearts 2 with JP voices, and went right back to english only with KH2 final mix most likely from the japanese fans who prefer to play the game in it's original intended dub).

Its one thing if one wants to admit being a friggin' weeby deeby thus just wants to use japanese voices with every single game even if its a western made or japanese-made w/ english voices as the original one (or wants to like, watch a disney movie in japanese.....lol), but using the "I only use the source" argument and yet going against that is what grinds my gears, lol.
