Nobody is interested in social discourse anymore. They think everybody else is out to get them and anybody who wants something wholly banal or just to ask a question is a murderous rapist, and in this case a pedophile because they're interested in someone 'too young' based off of an arbitrary standard of "life stages" FaultyCircuitry posted... They're not intelligent decisions, not logical decisions and while she can make those choices the older men that go after these young women are definitely taking advantage of them Also taking a hyper individualistic stance that people shouldn't at least watch out for one another is why so many people grow up without any sense of belonging or community There's watching out for each other and there's infantalizing people to the point they don't know how to be adults and any question, any confrontation causes them to freak out inappropriately, labeling whoever it is something that they're not. Quit infantalizing women. Let them be their own woman. Allow them to be 'challenged' in the world and make decisions on their own. If someone is too old for them or they feel they're being manipulated, let them make the decision to say No. Quit saying No for them. If they need help, be there for them but quit strong arming them out of experiences And quit demonizing men.
