yes and I won the frog lottery (in terms of it being unusual and the teacher having to figure out what the fuck was going on... The main point of the dissection exercise was to determine the sex of the frog based on what we found when opening them up. My frog was quite large and did not have noticeable genitalia but also didn't have eggs, so I was at a loss. I moved organs around as much as I could to try and figure out what I was looking at. I didn't figure it out and I straight up told the teacher I thought my frog was fucking with me.

As it turned out, I had a female frog, but a different (and larger) species of frog from the rest and the specific one I got was a juvenile and therefore didn't have eggs yet. We had been instructed to look for eggs or male genitalia. I didn't find either. That's why I got stumped. The teacher took a while to figure it out too though, to my credit.
