I was also thinking of one review I saw where someone complained that there are no discernable land markers in the open zones. Going by the first one, I thought that was completely false. There were definitely parts that helped me navigate them based on what was around. I don't know if that's the case for the rest of the zones, but I thought I very distinctly knew roundabouts where everything was and where to head.
