Dems fended off a lot more seats than expected, and it's rare for a midterm to do this well. Also, if the remaining ballots turn out in Democrat's favor in Nevada (And they can, since there's still a good chunk in the Reno and Vegas areas), Dems may even pick a senate seat up.
