THAT concept really intrigues me too. Isn't it like set during the beginnings of Starfleet? Or like some of the first ships to go on missions..? I'll give it a try eventually. It's takes place during the earlier years of the Starfleet, but before the Federation is established. The first two seasons are pretty slow (as seems to be common with ST series) and are mostly episodes along the lines "this was the origin of this technology, and that was first contact with that species". The third and fourth seasons are really good though. A shame it got cancelled after that, because I feel it could've been so much more fleshed out. --- One time, CE triggered me so hard with their objectively wrong opinions that I accidentally punched myself in the balls. ...
