Infinite TMs being removed just doesn't make sense. Like whatever issues one might have with Game Freak it's clear they have been actively moving to making the games more obtuse mechanics more accessible. So it was easier for players to craft high-end movesets. Infinite TMs was one of the first steps toward this. Since TM access was the most limiting aspect of creating a strong team. Even more so than EVs and IVs. Making them limited again is just anti-player and yet another indication that Game Freak has no idea what they are doing.

Besides the TM thing though, replacing the near-perfect PSS with the Festival Plaza was mind-bogglingly stupid. I don't know how anyone, much less entire teams of people to sign off on that.
