He fought for everyday Americans every bit as hard as Obama, GWB, and Biden, if not harder. However, he also faced unprecedented obstructionism that made the treatment of GWB and Obama (who benefited from a super-majority during part of his term) seem tame.

And a portion of the far-left was programmed to hate him from the get-go given the propaganda machine was going at full force to keep an outsider from getting into the White House. This included attacking Trump for implementing Obama policies that the far-leftists supported when Obama was talking about doing.

More so, for all the hypocritical claims of tyranny, it wasn't Trump who prosecuted more whistleblowers than any previous president, it wasn't Trump who tapped journalists' phones, it wasn't Trump who raided news offices, it wasn't the Trump administration that tortured Chelsea Manning (a LGBT whistleblower), and it wasn't the Trump administration that went after Edward Snowden with reckless abandon. All of that was Obama, who the far-leftists continue to defend, even after the Obama administrated murdered a wedding procession, a man who was the same height as Osama bin Laden, and exploited international aid groups which ultimately made COVID relief that much harder in those regions.
