I've got a child to raise and you've got school to do! Right, I did talk about it with my girlfriend (who grew up in Jackson, MS - not exactly a great place to be an out-lesbian) and that helped. I'll definitely be bringing it up with my therapist this week too (we meet on Thursdays, so we haven't met since before the shooting). I feel like I should get CPR and first-aid training. It's honestly pretty scary out there these days, but our elders survived worse. I always try to remember that. No matter how hard they try, they'll never get rid of us. My professor is honestly a dirtbag left type, so blurting out that the Russians are even more fascist than the Ukrainians was in response to him stating the Ukrainians have out-and-out Nazis fighting for them (which, to be fair, is true: the Azov Battalion is avowedly fascist. But, then, so is the Russian-employed Wagner Group. The name isn't even subtle about it, either!) definitely such a moment. It didn't get ugly, but considering I need this dude to write me a rec for school, I don't want to antagonize him right now. --- I'm Queen of Tomorrow baby! Remember: heat from fire, fire from heat!
