If you knew how math worked then you'd understand how you're incorrect, as you failed to factor the cost of the sofa itself into the dollar figure which you presented.

The sofa, at a guess, cost between $3K-$5K.

The upholstery cost $15K. This nugget of trivia can be gleaned from a quick Google search.

Altogether, without knowing the actual cost of the sofa itself, I'd guess it cost $18K-$20K. Possibly more, possibly less. More than likely a couple grand over $15K, at a minimum.
