Is this seriously what I need to put up with by being in my 30s?

Yes.

Yes, unfortunately. It just gets worse: less buzz, more hangover.

This, more or less.

Age starts to chip away at a lot of things you used to be able to get away with without consequences as a young person. When I was younger, I used to pull all-nighters, get by on about 4 hours of sleep, and generally have energy all day. Now I tend to feel like shit if I don't get a full 8 hours, and if I go too far out of my usual cycle without sleep I start to feel like I'm dying.

I am 33 And to this day, I dont think Ive ever had a hangover Im usually pretty good in the morning after a night of drinking, tbh

I would have said more or less the same thing when I was 33. But I definitely started feeling it a bit more once I neared 40, and I'm at the point now where I don't even really drink at all anymore because even a couple drinks makes me feel completely wrung-out the next day.

Part of it is just general tolerance (you're going to handle alcohol much more effectively when you drink every day and your body builds up a tolerance for it, as opposed to if you're older and drinking more infrequently and your tolerance is fading), but part of it is definitely the body getting older and more worn out.
