I'd argue that drinking at a fast food job is worse.

Drinking at a court house job you can definitely do something stupid and get fired, but drinking at a fast food job you have the potential to hurt yourself or somebody else.

The primary reason I don't drink at work isn't because I'm scared of getting fired, it's because I work with a lot of potentially dangerous machines, tools and equipment.

Alcoholism is a hell of a thing. The mind will pull every form of mental gymnastics possible to tell you why you should drink. After a while your body becomes so dependent on it your brain equates its necessity to that of food and water.

I function better and have a better attitude if Im just a bit buzzed, Things will be more fun and Ill feel better doing it, etc.
