I always wonder if child actors ever get confused, lmao. IIRC Miley Cyrus went through a phase during her teen years where she gave up on being herself and was her character 24/7. She thought it would make her life easier since Disney, her managers, and her costars all expected it from her. Famously, Anissa Jones from "Family Affair" was mentally stunted as an adult and eventually died young. On TV, she was forced to act like the cute little girl that people remembered.
