Why are interracial and gay marriage coupled together in this bill? That never made sense to me.
because the GOP was going to go after interracial and gay marriage.
because both interracial (loving v va) and gay marriage (obergefell) relied on the right to privacy doctrine which protected abortion and which was torn to shreds by the dobbs decision
because Thomas said in his ruling he invited chuds to challenge other rights decided in the past using the right to privacy doctrine (see above)
