I don't cycle through them in lockstep, just grass/fire/water in some order, then grass/fire/water in some possibly different order, etc. For the games I've played, it's been Fire Red: fire Emerald: grass Platinum: water Black: water Black 2: fire The next game I play is probably going to be Heart Gold with grass.
