I go to my doctor for my yearly appointment. I mention some random aches I feel sometimes in my chest. Oh, I can write you a script for an echocardiogram to get it checked out, he says. Oh, ok, I guess I'll get it checked out. So I go online and everywhere I look quotes the test around $1000-3000. And with my insurance it should knock off 80%. Well, imagine my shock when I get the bill that lists the test at 20,000 fucking dollars. Where the hell does that number come from? They didn't operate on me. I didn't buy the fucking machine. A lady waved a wand around my chest for 15 minutes. How the hell does justify 20,000 dollars!!?

Like, that's it. I'm done with hospitals. I'm not getting any more testing or anything done. I tried to be prudent by following up on any concerns I have, but never again. The entire healthcare industry is full of fucking crooks. I rather die than give these criminals any of my money. Maybe there was a $5000 fee for using their front door, and a $2000 fee for using the towel they handed me. Just fuck these people. Can't wait to see them all go to hell.
