I really don't think it is a money laundering scheme. CE continues to underestimate the stupidity of the MAGA followers. A lot of these people probably give most of their money away to the church so giving some to Trump instead isn't a huge deal. And they will rationalize these trading cards as Trump doing them a favor by making them available at such an affordable price. They think this will be a solid long term investment rather than a scam.

If he really wanted to launder money he could have easily did a silent release. But no, he had to do a whole ass video basically begging his followers to buy them that will be played endlessly on repeat for years to come.

It was blatantly a money laundering scheme. The maximum amount of "cards" you were allowed to purchase in one transaction left the transaction just short of federal reporting requirements, not to mention there are like 2-3 shell companies and crypto involved.
