| skulltrumpets 12/18/22 6:54:36 PM #41: | rapid as wildfires corneria breath of forest rapid as wildfires has a lovely rhythm, good build up. love the section that begins at around the 1:30 mark. really great use of motif. massive x is pretty good too. eschatos is a very remarkably passable soundtrack. as a whole i enjoy it, but many of these songs don't stand out particularly. wildfires is easily more memorable. the little build up in the intro of corneria is sick. easily the highlight right off the back. the energy that carries the rest of the tune is pretty good too. this song may have been one of the reasons why i did not support the set (or i was hesitant to support if i did, but i'm positive i didn't ) but that's more because brawl music is just really solid all around! wasn't sure how to feel 30XX, but the song improves as it goes on, with enough variation to make it interesting. mechanism is very slinky and smooth, moody and inquisitive. it could do with 20 seconds or so shorter, but an altogether interesting experience. i've said enough about breath of forest during vgmc16 i'm sure. :) ...
