But also there are soldiers who are gleefully raping and murdering civilians. Some are innocent stuck in an impossible position, some are psychopaths. I mean this is every war We like to think of soldiers as young proud men protecting freedom and heroically standing up for their country, led astray by evil fat old politicans We glorify it movies and ceremony. But humans are humans. Some people are just nasty, violent, vindictive and cruel. And when let off the leash with no restrictions of law in a high pressure scenario, they do horrible things.
