The history of the tournament:

• 2017: That tournament was kinda a joke, and CE and me weren't exactly on the best of terms. Never finished
• 2018: Ran much better, DocileOrangeCup became our inaugural champion
• 2019: Unfortunately, the tournament had a lot of controversies. It was finished, and TeaMilk was a worthy winner of that year, but suspicions of alt-voting in prior rounds left a very sour taste in my mouth.
• 2020: Got over halfway before I got burnt out and never finished. Part of the reasoning was that I had to do so much more in response to 2019, but admittedly, felt like a lot of work for a popularity contest.
• 2021: Never ran one. Started questioning if I liked the idea or not.

After much thought, I decided that they were little nuggets of fun, and we should do another one.

In typical fashion, please nominate anyone you would like in this thread to be a contestant in this tournament. There are 128 slots to fill. No user is to have more than one account in this tournament, so no alts please. When you nominate someone, please @ them, so they can see they were nominated and appropriately decline in participating in this tournament if they so choose.

I will refrain from nominating anyone.

Oh yeah, as for the 2019 problem, I mean, instead of having a committee like last time, I'm going to go with a challenge system instead. If you believe there was vote tampering in a matchup, and you can get a petition of 10 users, including yourself, to challenge the matchup results, we will redo the matchup, but with more exclusive rules to ensure no vote tampering can be done. I will IP restrict each matchup like always, but people can easily get around IP restrictions, so please keep that in mind.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, they have to be a user that existed in 2022. Users that last logged on in 2021 are not acceptable nominations. Please let me know if that is the case for any nominated users. Thank you.
