While I know we're talking about pits here, I do not give a flying fuck if all Brachycephalic dog breeds are completely banned given how existence is a living hell for them because dipshits think that having pushed in noses that makes it a struggle to breathe is cute.

Maybe make the owner of a pit liable for shit the doggo does or something to go back on topic, I dunno.

You'll be happy to know that they are starting to breed the snout back into them.

While breed bans dont work there are steps that should be taken to make sure bigger dogs are in the hands of capable owners.

#1. A form of mandatory training
#2. A tax for a larger breed
#3. Some sort of required liability insurance.

Pits arent inherently more dangerous than any other dogs and they are often misclassified. The dog breed's problem is that they are common and look scary. Which gives them large numbers in the US.
