| Topic | Pokemon Legends Arceus is so much better than Scarlet/Violet, it's kind of crazy |

So the weird thing about Legends: Arceus is that it has SO MANY quality of life improvements to the typical Pokemon formula. It's faster, it has a LOT less tedious "X is now confused" or "you picked up X" bullshit. Catching Pokemon is more streamlined. Battles feel much more rewarding (and are a lot harder). Visually, while it isn't super impressive it has a consistent painterly visual aesthetic that absolutely works and is charming. And then Scarlet/Violet looks like someone went to the Unreal store and just pasted random shit around.
