Mass effect 1 is just as fetch-questy as 2, only with mako segments and a lot more time slowly fat-jogging through empty rooms/hallways. Both games have roughly 3 missions where actual interesting plot developments happen. The only difference is 2 focuses on individual character stories, while 1 spends two worlds focusing on dull corporate espionage crap that has nothing to do with the rest of the series.

What? You have that completely wrong. ME2 focuses on literally nothing the series at all. You can literally take out 2 and still have the same experience from just playing 1 and 3.

ME2 is complete filler
