IIRC correctly, ~~Midge came back later in the show (s6?) and fought with Joanne over Bob's affections~~. Sadly, Midge's actress (Tanya Roberts) passed away last year. Man, that's sad, it also means that in show her character's last ride is basically ditching, coming back, losing and having to disappear forever.
