Topic	GTAV & RDR2 are great games, but the way they treat male rape is off-putting
g0ldie 01/13/23 7:35:40 PM #1:	like, I know they deal with dark issues, but GTAV deals with ~~Trevor raping/sexually abusing Floyd as a dark joke~~, and in RDR2, ~~Arthur can apparently be drugged and raped by the incest couple he comes across~~, and we don't see any trauma or anything from it, just that you can kill them and that's that. the second one isn't a mandatory part of the story, and I know that people deal with things differently, but I just thought it was weird how R* chose to add those parts to the games in ways that felt poorly done and/or really messed up, IMO. sorry for the topic, but I watched a little of an RDR2 playthrough, and the subject was on my mind. --- https://streamable.com/3ajdi3 <cite>g0ldie posted [p:970826391] in GTAV &...
