I like to make music. But when I sing I'm bad at it.

I can only guess this is what my friend was turned off by when I showed him my song.

But when I asked him what he thought, he said he didn't want to tell me because he didn't want to get blocked. I told him I wouldn't block him, but it didn't change his mind. In a way, I found this more annoying than simply just telling me my song was bad.

I mean if I'm asking for criticism, why not just give it, right? I mean as long as it's not some kind of personal attack or insult, it should be fine. I don't know.

Not sure what to think of my feelings right now. I need some guidance in knowing which way to process them. Am I right to be annoyed? I'm sure I'll be over it when I make my next song, but whatever. A couple of my friends liked it. I guess I'll re-do the vocal melody with an instrument for those who understandably can't tolerate my voice.
