REad the rules before nominating or I am banning you
not really but I'll be annoyed.RULES- You have 20 individual nominations to use toward any 7th generation game.
- There is currently no set amount of nominations needed to achieve placement in the bracket. Participation will be monitored and I will review the counts on Saturday to determine what the amount should be set at.
- There are currently 64 open spots in the bracket. This will not change.
- As always, computer, arcade, and other types of games which don't specifically fit into generational identification are still eligible. Computer and arcade games released from January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2013 are eligible.
- Since we're reaching the point of some games being released on multiple generations of consoles at the same time (Twilight Princess and probably other stuff), games which make the final bracket for one generation will be ineligible to be used in future brackets. This specifically applies to Twilight Princess primarily, so if you nominate it, it doesn't count and I will not alert you. I put this in the middle because I am making sure you read and I can yell about the people who don't to my friends on Discord.
- No compilations, side versions, or direct ports of prior gen games. All versions of Pokmon DPP are counting as the same even though Platinum is way better. And don't you dare nominate The Orange Box. I will allow stuff like the Ace Attorney games, since they weren't released in a region we had access to. Basically, just don't nominate Final Fantasy X HD or something else equally annoying.
- Games released exclusively in Japan (or some other non-English country) can be nominated, though they are completely eligible to be nominated for future generations as well, so long as their first worldwide appearance was in that separate generation. This was thrown in just in case people wanted to nominate Ace Attorney last gen. I have no idea if anything from this gen fits into this
- No nomination changing after a game is locked into the bracket. This one won't come into effect until Saturday, but I think it's kind of lame that we can take nominations away once they're set. You can still change your other nominations at any point, and you can put a nomination toward anything locked in for the sake of granting a higher seeding, we just can't be removing nominations from "safe" games.
Okay I think that's it. Most was copy and pasted so if you remember the rules from last time it's mostly the same. Gen 6 nominations went well iirc so we'll just keep that shit going.
