The craziest discovery for me is that being trans isn't just being the opposite gender. It's actually a literal biological imbalance, and when you're the wrong gender you depersonalize from the world.

Well yeah, it hurts when something so fundamental is misaligned. I get irritated without fail when customers misgender me (which happens often despite the fact my nametag has a girl's name and lists my pronouns).
