Turns out they are two entirely separate songs sharing the same name! The song you found was based on an old Chinese poem. It expresses loneliness from being separated from his family but he is sure they will meet again one day (analogy is how the moon waxes and wanes) and wishes them well. So it isnt originally about romance, though the modern song can be interpreted that way. As for the one I nominated I cant actually find any good interpretation. I would say its more someone close to you rather than humanity in general, and keeping memories of them alive. Which is pretty sad considering how the singer died. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
