It's not a grift for her. She is (or was) a billionaire, so money isn't her aim.

She truly does believe she is doing this for women and protecting them. In her eyes, trans people are a very real danger when they "invade female spaces" as otherwise I do believe she likely has no issue with them.

And she sees nothing wrong with this. Nothing wrong with subjecting a tiny minority to hate, to segregating them, to denying them basic human rights. As it is done to protect another group that has often faced their own discrimination.

She is someone who was hurt, which no one should ever be subjected to, and now she believes she has to do all she can to protect other women and so see's enemies all around her and jumps at shadows.

She is wrong and terrible for this. There is no excuse for spewing hate to another group of people in the way she does.
