They dont seem out of line with most traditional depictions so if they're supposed to be Jewish-coded then I'd peg that specific issue as a failing of the genre than on Rowling specifically. The end of the series tries to flesh them out more and generally paints wizards in the worse light, but they're still treated as shady and conniving.
