Unfortunately theyre being victimized because the shit head author turned out to be scum. I dont really care for harry potter but if this same shit happened to a franchise i was really in love with I dont know if I could separate the work from the creator. Good thing most franchises I loved have screwed the pooch, star wars has been trash for years beyond a few works, the mcu is circling the drain, DC is DC. Bethesda has shit on fallout. people should be allowed to like works like harry potter with no consequences, just like trans people should be allowed to live freely without consequence. 2023 and people demonize and dehumanize each other over loving one another.
