Being fat can reduce ur pulmonary reserve and make u short of breath quicker. But being fat can also directly make asthma worse from a biochemical standpoint too, not just physiologic. Has to do with increased inflammation.

Yeah, I'm like... 90% sure that my issues breathing are just due to being a fat fuck combined with having weaker lungs from suffering from asthma as a kid. Though I AM open to the possibility that I may have gotten the rona and just didn't get it real bad because I got vaxxed. I haven't weighed myself in a while but I'm almost certain I'm at least 320 lb. now. Definitely, absolutely at least 300.

The one time I've ever come close to needing an inhaler was actually pretty recently, when I was visiting my dad. We were out on a walk and got caught in a sudden rainstorm. Like, it came out of nowhere. One minute it was nice and dry, and the next torrential downpour, and we could actually see the line of wet ground vs dry ground advancing towards us, as we walked right into it. So naturally we ran as fast as we could back to the house. Still got fucking SOAKED though.

Let me tell you, I haven't run that hard since I was in elementary school. And I certainly paid the price for it; I was catching my breath for at least 2 hours afterwards. I actually thought I was gonna pass out, no joke. THAT would've been a good time for an inhaler. But I don't have one anymore because I haven't needed one in years. And even if I did, I probably wouldn't have taken it up there unless I used it regularly, because I would've have foreseen getting into THAT mess.

On a side note, my shoes didn't dry for 3 days, and even when they did dry, it was only because I finally decided I had enough and just threw them in the dryer lmao.

Idk. That's a lot of words for something that ultimately isn't important or even fully relevant to the thread, but it's just a story I felt like sharing and kinda spiraled out of control. My bad. I just like telling stories I guess lol
