I've already given my reasons as to why I think Death Stranding is a bad game in the Death Stranding topic.

it does have combat, but it's probably the worst part of the game, mechanically speaking, IMO.

besides that, the writing is bad, the characters are two-dimensional, and even though the game has this interesting concept (about the afterlife), Kojima deals with it in the most "academic" and boring way.

as for Ghost of Tsushima, I think that the story and characters overall feel dull and flat, for me; that the drama is forced - not to get into spoilers, but what Jin is doing is more effective than any other method, but so-called Bushido, something I don't think was even applied to foreign raiders, has people bitching at him.

also, the AI sucks, when it comes to stealth, making stealth not fun, even though you get all of these tools and have to do multiple forced stealth missions.

the swordplay is initially fun, but it gets old when it's the majority of the gameplay and all notable encounters end up being duels.

finally, even though the world is beautiful, there's nothing fun to do outside of combat. like, wow, I can follow this fox or bird to chill in a tub or write a poem; quality side-content...
