* as soon as he entered into power mysteriously his opponent (Gillium) was found guilty of some mysterious charges and was jailed
* he hid the Florida COVID numbers and went against the scientist who provided transparency
* He went after Disney motherfucking Disney just for voicing disagreement with his anti-gay bill
* he took back funding for a sports team for daring disagree with him too
* he literally banned books, books in Florida schools unless his council of truth or whatever its called approves them, ONE BY ONE.
* he successfully associated not being white with being woke and not worthy of a study course with educational value, and people didnt even notice

dude is authoritarian as fuck and makes no bones of using the system to go after his enemies, real or perceived.

DeSantis has a history of picking fights with people who can't fight back. The only possible exception to this was Disney, which is likely to be rendered moot anyway, as the Florida legislature is quietly planning to reverse his famous revoking of Disney's special tax exemption. When and if Trump comes at him firing on all cylinders, DeSantis will likely fold; he won't bow out of the race, but it might finally show the American people what a coward he truly is.
