Topic	i bought an rtx 3080. power cable/PCIE question?
Kloe_Rinz 02/17/23 3:17:17 AM #4:	Im not sure about the 3080, but with my 4080 the recommendation was 3 separate cables into the PSU, but mine is working off 2 separate cables and one cable splits in a y shape to plug thrice into the GPU. (Like imagine the cables as: Y I) i dont have experience with the 3080 but its possible it could work with a single cable, but it would be dependent on the cable, the PSU, and maybe even what port on the PSU in specific in some cases it could also be that my setup is completely wrong and once my GPU draws enough power it craps out and my computer BSODs or something but so far it hasnt happened <cite>Kloe_Rinz posted [p:971623300] in i bought a...
