Its.......a bit janky yeah. Videos will have you believe its mainly a melee game with a bit of gunplay, but the truth is actually the exact opposite.....you mainly use your assualt rife, the pistol is for stopping rushing enemies in their tracks (there is a stopping power stat for your pistol. Gotta' learn to love that one stat) and melee is only if you get the opportunity. The game is hard (mind you I am playing on the basic difficulty setting. There is an even easier one if you get your ass kicked too much but I am not at that point yet thankfully).

The controls....feels "off". Like there is a cover system. You don't press a button to go into cover like with a lot of games with a cover system has, that part is automatic. Because its automatic, sometimes you can find your character sitting there just getting shot the fuck up when you want to crouch behind this desk or couch real quick. There is also a parry mechanic with your sword, but the default parry window is very small, lol. If you do plan on playing this then its recommended you upgrade the parry window asap.
