I haven't played the first game, but I know the story mode for that one is pretty barebones. Very little story and each mission is basically just get from point A to point B. Timesplitters 2 Story mode was great. The story itself is again pretty basic, but the missions have a lot of depth to them. Very memorable. Future Perfect is where they really started to care about the story though. Unlike the other two games, this is the first time you play as a single character throughout the entire campaign.
