Do you mean after you've said it? Of course you can change your mind afterwards. But what you say at the moment, kind of reflects any thoughts you had on the subject I believe.

Edit: This is about thoughts now. But what I meant previously is about what you say at the time. You can say something hurtful to someone and when it leaves your mouth, the damage is done. After that you have to reconcile.
