It was like a dated joke about a movie from 30 years ago It's a hollywood award show. It's literally 50% circle jerking about how great everyone is and 50% lightly roasting people in the industry. They literally hire dozens of comedians to sit around a room coming up with these kinds of jokes. Like, you don't think Chris Rock literally wrote the entire show himself, do you?
