as a member of the black community in the US i can tell you it aint rare to hear about black folk gettin hate from other black folks for daring to date partners of other races

some black men take it super personal seeing one of us dating outside
some black women make it their mission to throw shade and escalate shit over the same thing
sometimes the latter pushes the former to make things violent to send a message, cause guess whos raising them...
the point is they take it as an act of betrayal to the tribe when we aint dating one of our own
some ladies especially dont like seeing a fine ass rich eligible black man flexing his dating options outside the group
dont matter if they had a chance with him or even want him, they expect him to stay with the group for the sake of image

its why the whole "passport bro" thing has been gettin highlighted in media lately
its always been a thing, people traveling outside of their country to find partners is not new
some of us just getting salty over others having options, thats all it is lol
men in the US have been doing it for years, the women can too, its nothing to be crying about
statistically black folk still prefer black partners like over 80% of the time no matter how much we bitch at each other

i know this tribalism bs shit all too well cause i was shocked they started petty shit over me dating other women who aint black
i thought that was something only the straights had to deal with, but o no it also bleeds into LGBTQ
had other black women turn me down and then giving me the stink eye when they saw me dating a hot asian, latina, or white girl
its not all and i wouldnt even say most, but some US black folk honestly want u to just stay single instead of going interracial lol
i really dont blame those of us who jump ship to get a break from the ridiculousness
