| FigureOfSpeech 03/10/23 9:07:32 PM #367: | Questionmarktarius posted... Hell, I'd give it tomatoes, to have a bigass moth buddy. they are fucking awesome too. Fast and fly like hummingbirds. There is this "paranormal" shit that gets reported on farms across the country. These moths are responsible for most of it. They shoot by shitty night vision trash cameras and capture "light spirals" which is just literally moths flying fast by cameras that handle it lol. I watched a documentary about it. In 5 minutes I was like "I know exactly what this is. Case closed." The idiot debunkers after an hour of the show and probably like 24 hours investigating were like "I think this is some kind of insect." I was like "YOU FOOLS!" fuckin... they should have hired me. Took them how long to figure out "some insect" when I knew it was the second I saw the footage. Some related moths are even literally called Hummingbird Moths because they fly like that too and are active in the day time (unusual for moths) and even in some cases have clear wings. Like unless you catch one or see it up close, you're probably gonna assume you're looking at a baby hummingbird or some shit lol. also funny thing about this particular caterpillar... they're mostly found on tomato plans but they're known as tobacco hornworms. In contrast, there are also tomato hornworm caterpilars, but they are found more on tobacco plants. As far as I know, the names haven't changed in the few decades I've known about them. I still have no idea why they are named as they are. Also that pic is from google images, not a personal pic that I took unlike the other caterpillar pic I post sometimes. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
