I cant say if this is for her or not, but I could see reasons It might have deeper reason for that Maybe she doesnt want to be with someone cheap, or maybe there is something else it connects to

Though, for me, it depends. If he would do that every time, Im not sure I could do it, either. Like if he ever picked me up a burger and forewent the cheese, thats a no-go I dont think Ive ever had a hamburger Always cheese burger. But its hes buying for, and not getting cheese because it cost extra, thats like wasted food unless I have extra cheese at home
