and obviously I'd be drinking my ass off too, but if I was drunkenly hanging out on the deck with a storm brewing, I'd order a plain fucking room ass temperature water, maybe two, and pour 'em over my fucking head so I was drenched as shit. Get struck by lightning when you're dry, bullfuck happens. Get struck by lightning when you got a nice coat of water all over you, the electricity mostly just fucks your skin and leaves organs like heart and liver alone. Dunno how that affects when you're on a ship though. Electrical grounding properties might be a bit different. All I know is I've thought about this sort of shit a lot while walking home in thunderstorms when I was too sober to be in "fuck it I don't care what happens I'm feeling good" mode...
