Flash Bomb and Metal Blade are the op weapons of the respective sets, but then the others are just kind of there. Everything else in 8 does roughly the same damage to every basic enemy. Otherwise you use some as utilities, or to find hidden bolts. Thunder Claw allows you to swing. Flame Sword melts ice blocks. Astro Crush is a decent screen clear but has very few uses.
